It’s been 3 years since The New Pornographers released last LP Challengers. And it already feels like it has been too long. In 2010 they will release Together, a new LP. And we now have a track from it titled Your Hands (Together). The songs feels like they are taking the album in a different direction to Challengers, which is good but ultimately their weakest LP. There are heavy guitars which feel a lot more like 2005’s Twin Cinema. Above all else, The New Pornographers still sound like The New Pornographers, and this is a quite an excellent preview of the album. Take a listen below.
